As you may know, Hande was born from the dream of Gaddo to broaden his horizons and explore the coasts of Sardinia and Corsica, carrying the work and life of Capo Galera around the sea.

And so it was for many years.
In June each year when the gulet was leaving Alghero to Corsica we got a little nostalgic as at the end of the season to see her coming around the cape in front of the villa it was always a joy.

It was time to get her back home.
Seeing the caique resting, like every winter, in the spectacular setting of the port of Alghero, we finally decided to realize also one of the ideas we left behind: a floating B & B.

There is nothing like the rock of a boat to fall asleep to: one-of-a-kind experience with a perfect logistic.
Whether you are looking for a fun alternative to the traditional hotel or for special accommodations, treat yourself to something unique: sleep aboard of our caique Hande and you´ll experience Alghero in a whole new way spending time on the water without ever leaving the docks.

In low season you´ll wake up directly in the hearth of the old town, an ancient Catalan burg on the sea, an infinite variety of colours and landscapes, stories and legends of past civilizations, the allure of sailing, the traditions and flavours and much more.
In summer season, as the sea is the very soul of the city, we move to Porto Conte, close to the best beaches and outdoor activities that you cannot miss!

The Sleep Aboard will open the week of Easter, a must for Alghero lovers. Sleeping on Hande: what better way to follow the fascinating journey to discover one of the most important traditions of Sardinia, La Santa Setmana de l´Alguer (The Holy Week in Alghero).

And in the summer a greater offer:

  • Weekly cruises boarding from Alghero
  • Mini cruises
  • Day trips for divers and non-divers
  • Sunset cruise with dinner on board

New scenarios, hidden bays, and crystal clear water are waiting for you along our coasts.
